El presidente de la República, Francisco Sagasti, confirmó mediante su cuenta de twitter que se comunicó con Mario Vargas Llosa en un esfuerzo para llamar a “la serenidad y la calma en momentos difíciles y complejos”.
Sagasti respondió a través de su cuenta de Twitter, e indicó que se comunicó con “varias personas” que según el mandatario tienen contacto con la candidatura de Keiko Fujimori y la candidatura de Pedro Castillo .
“La tarea de un efe de Estado es hacer que el país mantenga la serenidad y la calma en momentos difíciles y complejos. En ese esfuerzo me puse en comunicación con varias personas que, entendía, tienen contacto con ambas candidaturas. Mi pedido fue el mismo para ambos: bajar la tensión y esperar los resultados oficiales. Una de esas personas fue Mario Vargas Llosa”, escribió en su cuenta de Twitter.
En esa línea, el mandatario cuestionó que “se distorsione y malinterprete” su llamada que buscaba » mantener la tranquilidad en un ambiente tan polarizado, complejo y difícil”. Remarcó que no dejará “pasar ninguna mentira ni tergiversación de mis palabras y acciones”.
