El candidato presidencial de Renovación Popular, Rafael López Aliaga, aseguró que cometió un error en invitar a la excongresista Rosa Bartra para que postule por su agrupación, entonces Solidaridad Nacional, en las elecciones parlamentarias de enero del 2020.
En una entrevista con ‘Cuarto Poder’, López Aliaga indicó que no tomó en cuenta el antivoto que tenía Bartra y la también exlegisladora Yeni Vilcatoma al momento de inscribirlas como candidatas.
“Fue un error [invitar a Rosa Bartra y Yeni Vilcatoma] porque no medí el antivoto que tenían por toda la campaña tremenda, desastrosa, principalmente en contra de Rosa Bartra, ya la historia la juzgará. La consigna ahora ha sido provida, profamilia, privados, dirigentes evangélicos, católicos, aún así se nos han colado cuatro casos y el mismo JNE los ha sacado de carrera”, señaló.
