La candidata a la presidencia por Fuerza Popular, Keiko Fujimori, dijo este jueves que el plan Rescate 2021 de su programa de gobierno, plantea enfrentar a la pandemia de la COVID-19 con la aplicación masiva de pruebas moleculares para «atacar y acorralar» al virus.
«La idea es salir a atacar, a buscar al virus. Hacer 70 a 80 mil pruebas moleculares, porque tememos que saber la verdad, no saber la verdad a medias con estas pruebas rápidas. Con las pruebas moleculares vamos a saber quiénes están infectados, con quienes han tenido contactos», dijo.
En entrevista con Patricia del Río para Ampliación de Noticias de RPP, dijo que la intención es «no tener una actitud pasiva e ineficiente como se ha tenido en los últimos meses» en la lucha contra el nuevo coronavirus, que ha provocado la muerte de más de 40 mil personas en el país, según cifras oficiales.
