Ella solo tenía 10 años, cuando al realizar un reto viral de TikTok la vida se le escapó de las manos. Su nombre era Antonella Sicomero y vivía con sus padres y hermanas en Palermo, Sicilia (al sur de Italia). Según medios locales, se trataría del polémico “Blackout challenge”.
Antonella, quien participó en el llamado “desafío del apagón”, en el baño de su casa familiar, se puso un cinturón en el cuello con el objetivo de quedarse sin respirar el mayor tiempo posible, mientras grababa la escena con su móvil.
“Blackout challenge” es el juego propuesto que consiste en que los niños bloquean la respiración hasta desmayarse y experimentar así fuertes sensaciones. Cada año provoca accidentes, algunos fatales.
La fiscalía de Palermo abrió una investigación por “incitación al suicidio”.
