El fiscal superior Gino Quiroz y la defensa del congresista electo de Perú Libre Guillermo Bermejo continuarán discutiendo la admisibilidad de las pruebas que se examinarán en el juicio por la presunta vinculación y afiliación de Bermejo al grupo terrorista Sendero Luminoso.
La acusación de la fiscalía contra Bermejo se sustenta en la declaración de tres colaboradores eficaces identificados con las claves 2205, 1969 y 3022, otro testigo protegido con clave y el testigo identificado Wilder Satalaya Apagueño.
El tribunal integrado por los jueces Andrés Churampi Garibaldi, Teófilo Salvador Neira y Luis Cerrón Rengifo los admitió, pero en torno a su identidad se generó una polémica.
El abogado defensor Ronald Atencio Sotomayor reclamó que primero se aclare si los tres colaboradores son distintas personas o se trata de una sola, o si son distintas al testigo clave y a Satalaya.
La fiscalía y la policía investigan a Guillermo Bermejo desde el 2006, cuando se reportaron viajes a Venezuela, Bolivia y Colombia por sus actividades del movimiento “Todas las Voces”, que él había formado. El 2008 se allanó su casa y se encontraron equipos de radio con los que se comunicaba con movimientos cocaleros del Vraem.
Esa investigación fue archivada por falta de pruebas que lo vincularan a actividades terroristas. El 2015, se le inició una nueva investigación por presunta vinculación y pertenencia a Sendero Luminoso, ante lo cual el hoy congresista electo se asiló en Venezuela.
El 2017, Bermejo regresó al Perú, se sometió a juicio público y fue absuelto. El 2019, la Corte Suprema anuló la sentencia absolutoria y dispuso que se realice un nuevo juicio. Esto es lo que se está haciendo ahora.
