El candidato al Congreso por Somos Perú, Martín Vizcarra, pidió al Gobierno presentar un proyecto de ley para postergar las Elecciones Generales 2021 programadas para el 11 de abril.
Para el expresidente, una fecha prudente para llevar a cabo los comicios es el domingo 23 de mayo, debido a que considera, basado en gráficos del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, en esa fecha la segunda ola de COVID-19 estará a la baja.
“Siempre hablamos claro. No puede haber elecciones en abril. (…). No se trata de posponer las elecciones tres meses o un año, así como sube rápido, va a bajar rápido. No va a haber problema en que las elecciones sean el 23 de mayo”, comentó.
