El ministro del Interior, Avelino Guillén, señaló que si bien este miércoles informará en Consejo de Ministros sobre el pedido para declarar en estado de emergencia Lima, Callao, Ucayali y Trujillo, todavía espera el informe técnico de la Policía Nacional sobre el tema, el mismo que espera recibir mañana.
“Es un requisito imprescindible el informe técnico de la Policía Nacional, entiendo que los mandos de la PNP lo están discutiendo y espero que a más tardar mañana estén cumpliendo con entregar el informe”, enfatizó.
Al ser consultado sobre cuándo podría concretarse la medida, Guillén respondió: “Yo creo que la próxima semana ya se tiene que definir esto”, y agregó que el pedido no solo incluye a Lima y Callao sino también a Ucayali y Trujillo. “Son cuatro escenarios”, añadió durante la realización de un allanamiento a la sede del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas por el caso Los Incorregibles.
Este pedido de declaratoria de estado de emergencia, obedece al incremento de los crímenes y actos delictivos.
El comandante general de la PNP, Javier Santos Gallardo, también fue consultado hoy sobre el tema. Al respecto, respondió que si bien “los recursos humanos y logísticos de la Policía Nacional no son los más adecuados e idóneos, esta viene demostrando su alta capacitación, preparación y fortaleza para poder permanentemente atender, atacar y resolver problemas de delitos en sus diferentes modalidades”.
Según dijo, la respuesta de la PNP es inmediata tras la ocurrencia de asaltos y otras modalidades de delitos a fin de identificar y capturar a sus autores.
