A pocas semanas de celebrarse el Bicentenario de la Independencia, las calles del Callao hablarán de la historia de nuestro país a través de varios murales que han sido realizados por reconocidos artistas. Esta iniciativa surgió de la gestión actual de la Municipalidad Provincial del Callao, a fin de promover los valores patrióticos y la cultura chalaca con miras al 28 de julio próximo en que se conmemorará la declaración de la independencia de nuestro país.
Así, por ejemplo, en los murales se destaca la época de los Incas hasta la independencia, proclamada por el general don José de San Martín, en 1821. Entre los reconocidos artistas que están a cargo de los bellos murales figuran Francisco Borja y Miguel Ángel Díaz Consuelo conocidos por sus dibujos para portadas, revistas y periódicos.
La técnica que utilizan es hiperrealista, que consiste en tener una mejor presentación de los retratos o paisajes a través de un singular método de trabajo que compagina técnica y disciplina. Para los murales se utilizaron también los colores claros y oscuros, los cuales le dan una vista más real. Se estima que todos los murales serán exhibidos y estarán completos pocos días antes del 28 de julio próximo.
