Mientras espera el pronunciamiento del Jurado Nacional de Elecciones del Perú, que lo proclamaría oficialmente como presidente electo, Perú Libre – Pedro Castillo se reunió con Verónika Mendoza, George Forsyth, Hernando Cevallos, Dina Boluarte, José Vega y parte de su equipo técnico. Trascendió que viene ultimando la comisión de transferencia y deliberando sobre la conformación de su gabinete.
Tal como adelantó La República, la agencia Reuters reportó que Pedro Francke es uno de los que tiene más posibilidades para asumir el Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas. “Es el candidato más fuerte y calificado”, afirmó una fuente de ese medio.
Destacan que Pedro Francke lidera los esfuerzos para convencer al actual presidente del Banco Central, Julio Velarde, de que permanezca en su cargo.
La presencia de Verónika Mendoza generó comentarios sobre su posible presencia en el gabinete del nuevo Gobierno; sin embargo, a su salida de la reunión con Castillo en Breña, la excandidata presidencial descartó esa posibilidad. “¿Perdón? No, no hemos hablado de eso”, dijo escuetamente.
Mendoza sostuvo luego que había sostenido una reunión en la que abordaron la coyuntura política. “Vimos los lineamientos generales del futuro Gobierno del profesor Castillo y también hemos compartido preocupación por lo que está pasando en el Congreso”, dijo.
Hernando Cevallos, miembro del equipo técnico, confirmó que están tratando sobre la comisión de transferencia y expresó su preocupación por el retraso de la proclamación del presidente. “Debería resolverse a la brevedad, no solo por Castillo sino por el país. El retraso está paralizando el trabajo de muchos ministerios”, indicó.
Además, hizo una invocación al JNE para que acelere su labor. “Queda poco tiempo para la transferencia y no vamos a tener toda la información que necesitamos”, reclamó.
En el mismo sentido se pronunció el excandidato presidencial George Forsyth. Tras reunirse con Pedro Castillo, pidió al JNE culminar su trabajo con prisa y transparencia. Asimismo, cuestionó a los grupos que no quieren reconocer los resultados electorales, advirtiendo que “no hay respeto a nuestras instituciones”.
