Vacuna contra el coronavirus no será obligatoria en nuestro país, asegura el Minsa
El viceministro de Salud Pública, Luis Suárez, informó el último viernes que la administración de la vacuna contra el coronavirus en el país será «voluntaria» una vez que lleguen las primeras dosis a inicios del 2021.
“Como todas las vacunas que se administran en el país son voluntarias. A nadie se va a obligar para colocarse la vacuna” explicó Suárez.
Por otro lado, mencionó que si bien no se obligará a la población a vacunarse, puede que los reglamentos sanitarios en otros países cambien y exijan que las personas estén vacunadas contra el coronavirus para ingresar a su territorio. De igual forma, reiteró que para «el Plan Nacional, para el interior del país, la vacuna es voluntaria». «Pero aquí debo hacer algunas precisiones, en primer lugar, ninguna vacuna que se utiliza en nuestro país o que se compraría daña el ADN, esa es una inadecuada interpretación de las características de la vacuna. No hay ninguna vacuna que cause daño en el ADN, pueden acudir a las páginas de la OMS para tener una referencia precisa al respecto», instó.
