La saturación de camas UCI para la atención de casos graves de Covid-19 continúa imparable. La ocupación de estos equipos superó el 95% del total disponible en Lima Metropolitana, Áncash, Arequipa, Cusco y Huánuco.
En Lambayeque, Tumbes y Ucayali, ya no había UCI libres y crecían las listas de espera para acceder a un ventilador mecánico.
Según cifras de la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud, la jornada terminó con 1.709 equipos ocupados de 1.836 disponibles, que se refleja en una tasa de ocupación del 93%, tres puntos porcentuales más que lo observado hace una semana.
En Lima, la demanda actual bordea las 885 camas, cifra que representa un 5% más que el máximo de la primera fase, reportado el 20 de agosto del 2020.
