Un terremoto de magnitud 7 sacudió este jueves el sureste del archipiélago filipino, sin que las autoridades hayan informado inicialmente de víctimas, daños materiales o una preocupante alerta de tsunami.
El movimiento telúrico ocurrió a las 21.23 horas y fue localizado a 95 kilómetros de profundidad y a 210 kilómetros al sureste de Pondaguitan, en la isla de Davao, según informó el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos, que registra la actividad sísmica en todo el mundo.
El Centro de Alertas de Tsunamis del Pacífico indicó que no hay alerta de una posible ola gigante, aunque precisó que continúa evaluando la información sobre el seísmo.
