Un nuevo proyecto de ley presentado por la bancada de Perú Libre plantea el retiro del 100% de ahorros de las Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones (AFP). La iniciativa, denominada Proyecto de Ley N° 00929/2021-CR, ya se encuentra en evaluación en las comisiones de Economía, Banca, Finanzas e Inteligencia Financiera; y de Constitución y Reglamento.
Esta propuesta cuenta con las firmas de los congresistas Jorge Coayla, Elías Varas, Flavio Cruz, Jhakeline Ugarte, Waldemar Cerrón, y Betssy Chávez, quien también es ministra de Trabajo.
La iniciativa legislativa permitiría el retiro del 100% de fondos de las AFP en un solo pago que se daría en un plazo de 30 días calendario. Para pedir el desembolso se tendrá un plazo de 60 días desde el día que sea publicada la ley, en caso sea aprobada por el Pleno del Congreso y promulgada por el Poder Ejecutivo.
Como se recuerda, el retiro permitido con la Ley N° 31192 era de hasta S/ 17,600 para todos los afiliados, excluyendo solo a quienes acceden al Régimen de Jubilación Anticipada por Desempleo (REJA) y a los actuales pensionistas del Sistema Privado de Pensiones.
