Personal médico de EsSalud llegó hasta el kilómetro 227 de la Panamericana Sur para atender a los pasajeros varados en el quinto día de protestas de los trabajadores de empresas agroexportadoras por el tema de mejoras laborales y derogación de la Ley de Promoción Agraria 27360.
Además, el grupo de voluntarios -que participó en las marchas del 12N y 14N- acudió a Ica para ayudar a todas las personas que se encuentran varadas entre los kilómetros 260 y 275 de la carretera. Asimismo, llevarán agua, latas de atún, galletas, papel higiénico, alcohol y gel desinfectante para los pasajeros afectados.
Desde el 30 de noviembre, que comenzó el paro agrario, se extendió a otras ciudades del norte en La Libertad. Cabe resaltar que Jorge Yener Muñoz Jiménez, un trabajador de la agroindustria, falleció este jueves 3 durante estas protestas en el distrito de Chao, en la región de La Libertad. Según su padre, el joven perdió la vida producto de un impacto de perdigón disparado por la Policía Nacional.
Durante la noche del jueves, los manifestantes permitieron el paso de algunos vehículos hacia Ica; sin embargo, las marchas continuarán hasta que no se llegue a un acuerdo. Hoy, en Lima, se desarrollará una marcha en la Plaza San Martín desde las 5.00 p. m., y se tiene previsto que las personas se desplacen hacia el Congreso.
