Desde que inició la pandemia a la fecha, El Gobierno Regional del Callao, a través de la gerencia de Desarrollo Social, ha entregado más de 50 mil canastas con alimentos de primera necesidad y 71 mil kits de protección, conteniendo principalmente alcohol y mascarillas, a las familias más vulnerables de los siete distritos de la Región.
Además, se ha brindado acompañamiento psicosocial a los pobladores del Callao para hacer más llevadera las consecuencias de la pandemia, a través de la implementación de conferencias virtuales.
Gracias a estas ferias, cientos de familias chalacas han tenido la oportunidad de abastecerse de alimentos de primera necesidad a bajo costo y en espacios que cumplieron con todos los protocolos de bioseguridad, a fin de evitar contagios de COVID-19.
