El jurista Domingo García Belaunde se sumó este jueves a la defensa legal de Fuerza Popular. Anunció que se presentará un hábeas data contra la ONPE para que la agrupación de Keiko Fujimori tenga acceso a las listas de electores.
“Esta lista de electores de mesa que están en la ONPE tenemos que confirmarlas y se niegan. ¿Por qué se niegan si hay una ley de transparencia? Entonces, ante esto hemos pensando en un proceso constitucional o acción constitucional que se llama hábeas data”, manifestó García Belaunde durante conferencia de prensa.
Afirmó que la ONPE comunicó que no puede entregar dichas listas por lo que, deslizó, se estaría faltando a la “transparencia” y “honestidad” en el proceso electoral.
“La ONPE simplemente cree que debemos confiar alegremente en ella y que esto es como una iglesia en la cual el sumo sacerdote dice la última palabra, pero en la vía democrática no es así. La vía democrática se caracteriza por la transparencia porque implica la honestidad en el proceder”, agregó.
