El abogado y experto en temas electorales, José Manuel Villalobos, estimó que los resultados oficiales sobre la segunda vuelta de las Elecciones Generales podrían ser proclamados por los organismos electorales a finales de junio o inicios de julio.

El experto también mencionó que el tiempo se dilataría porque el Jurado Nacional de Elecciones iniciará esta semana con el proceso de apelaciones de los Jurados Electorales Especiales sobre las actas observadas.
Posterior a ello, los organismos electorales deberán evaluar las posibles apelaciones por parte de Fuerza Popular o Perú Libre sobre las resoluciones que emitan. “Hay que tener en cuenta que si el JNE le da la razón a Fuerza Popular, el que pueda apelar es Perú Libre”, sostuvo.
En otro momento, Villalobos aseguró que no existe causal para pedir la nulidad total del proceso electoral. Sin embargo, precisó que sí está contemplado pedir la nulidad parcial de las actas en mesas de sufragio.
“No hay causal para pedir la nulidad total de la elección; es por eso que Fuerza Popular solo ha hablado de nulidades parciales en mesas de sufragio. Para la nulidad total, la norma habla sobre la cantidad de votos, entre nulos y blancos, que deben superar los dos tercios; pero no se ha configurado esa causal. Eso no va a proceder”, aclaró.
