Un menor de edad falleció durante el sismo ocurrido ayer por la noche en Lima. Según las primeras informaciones, el niño se asustó por el fuerte movimiento sísmico y empezó a convulsionar. El lamentable hecho sucedió en el distrito de Chilca, Cañete.
Exitosa conversó con la madre del menor, Lourdes Ihuaraqui, quien entre lágrimas informó que su hijo se encontraba con la familia en el primer piso de su vivienda cuando ocurrió la tragedia. El infante empezó a correr junto a sus hermanos presos del pánico por la situación; lo que narran es que luego cayó al piso y empezó a convulsionar.
La familia trasladó al menor a la posta médica de Chilca pero, lamentablemente el niño sufrió un paro cardíaco y su cuerpo no pudo soportar el suceso.
Cabe destacar que el infante sufría de epilepsia, cuadro clínico que habría agravado el hecho.
