La Beca Generación del Bicentenario ofrece 150 plazas para la realización de estudios de posgrado en cualquiera de las 400 mejores universidades del mundo, tomando en cuenta los rankings QS World, ARWU y Times Higher Education, anunció el Pronabec.
Entre las universidades a las que se puede postular destacan Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Oxford, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, California Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich), Columbia University, Yale University, Imperial College London y otras. “El año pasado postularon alrededor de 1,400 personas, quienes estuvieron interesadas en las becas. Desde hace dos años venimos entregando 150 becas al año, que son para estudiar una maestría o doctorado. Ese es el número que Pronabec se propone para el año 2021”, detalló Julio Moreno, coordinador de Procesos de Gestión de Becas del Pronabec.
Requisitos para postular
– Nacionalidad peruana.
– Acreditar estudios de pregrado o posgrado:
a) Para maestrías: Contar con grado académico de bachiller o título profesional o título técnico profesional.
b) Para doctorados: Contar con grado académico de bachiller o título profesional o título técnico profesional o grado de maestría.
– Acreditar alto rendimiento académico en los estudios de pregrado o posgrado (promedio final) en alguno de los siguientes percentiles:
a) Décimo superior o primer o segundo puesto o equivalente.
b) Quinto superior o equivalente.
c) Tercio superior o equivalente (percentil mínimo exigido para participar en el concurso).
– Contar con la carta de aceptación definitiva de una universidad extranjera elegible.
– Acreditar ingreso promedio mensual per cápita familiar igual o menor a S/ 6510.
– Acreditar experiencia laboral mínima de un año, contabilizado después de obtenido el grado de bachiller o título técnico profesional hasta la fecha de publicación de las bases.
– Acreditar un buen perfil profesional y/o de investigación.
– No poseer deudas superiores a 7 remuneraciones mínima vital (S/ 6510).
– Estar en buen estado de salud física y mental.
– Declaraciones juradas y formatos generados por el Módulo de Postulación.
La postulación es virtual y completamente gratis, a través de www.pronabec.gob.pe/beca-generacion-bicentenario. Concluye el 4 de junio del 2021, hasta las 5:30 p. m. (hora peruana).
La beca financiará solo programas académicos con inicio de estudios entre el 22 de abril de 2021 (fecha de publicación de bases) hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2022.
