La Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima, a través de Sisol Salud, entregó a los vecinos de San Juan de Lurigancho una planta de producción de oxígeno que brindará el servicio de manera gratuita para apoyar a los ciudadanos afectados por el covid-19.
La esperada planta, denominada Oxígeno para la Vida, se convirtió en una realidad gracias a la alianza estratégica entre Sisol Salud y la parroquia San Marcos, que, a través de Fundación Lima, donó S/ 346,607, los que se sumaron a los S/ 688,293 invertidos por Sisol Salud para la puesta en marcha de este proyecto. La inversión total asciende a S/ 1 millón 035,000.
La planta tendrá una producción aproximada de 420 m3/día; asimismo, el costo total de la operación y mantenimiento será asumido por la comuna limeña.
Para acceder al oxígeno, los usuarios deberán cumplir los siguientes requisitos: tener orden médica que indique terapia oxigenatoria, diagnóstico de covid-19, documento de identidad o carné de extranjería, tanto del paciente como de la persona responsable del recojo del balón, y certificado de prueba hidrostática del balón (deseable).
En caso de no tener este último certificado, el balón se llenará solo hasta el 70 % de su capacidad por medidas de seguridad.
La producción de la planta será de lunes a domingo, las 24 horas, y la recepción de balones se iniciará a las 07:00 horas.
