El Ministerio de Salud entregó 10 ventiladores mecánicos al Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, en la región La Libertad, y otros 10 al Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo de Lima, como parte de su objetivo de reforzar los servicios del tercer nivel de atención en salud.
Con los nuevos equipos se busca, a su vez, ampliar la capacidad de la atención de los nosocomios y dar una mayor cobertura a pacientes graves por causa del covid-19.
Willington Mendoza Valladolid, ejecutivo adjunto de DIGERD, manifestó que “es importante el despliegue que viene realizando Minsa referente a la necesidad que presentan los hospitales que atienden pacientes covid-19 a nivel nacional.
El Ministerio de Salud, a través de diferentes acciones, invoca a la población en general a no bajar la guardia, además cumplir diariamente con todos los protocolos de bioseguridad puestos a conocimiento a lo largo de esta pandemia.
