Vivimos en una sociedad donde necesitamos desnaturalizar el rosa en las niñas y el celeste en los niños. La práctica en un mundo consumista, ha creado la diferencia en base a colores, marcándolos o sesgándolos de acuerdo al género de cada niño.
Durante la experiencia de la niñez, muchos niños se enfrentan a comentarios y predisposiciones sobre colores y juegos que deben practicar de acuerdo a su género; reforzando en ellos estereotipos que en la vida adulta se interiorizan en acciones que no fomentan la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres.
“Los niños toman de su imaginación y de las diferentes etapas en las que se desarrollan, los colores y juegos que les dicta su creatividad, la manera como conciben el mundo. Normalmente ese proceso viene de las experiencias que viven en el lugar donde se desarrollan y de la manera como vienen siendo estimulados” señaló la Mgtr. Sandra Chafloque Chávez, Psicoterapeuta y Docente de la Escuela de Psicología de UCV campus Piura, quien considera que es fundamental no estereotipar a nuestros hijos durante su niñez.
“Tenemos arraigadas creencias de la crianza antigua y tradicional donde entendíamos la vida desde el pensamiento de que la mujer va a la cocina y el hombre al volante, separándolos del nivel de desarrollar habilidades para con la vida que marquen resiliencia, sentido y propósito de existencia, sin pensar lo que podría estar grabándose en nuestros hijos”, recalcó.
Niñez sin etiquetas.
Cuando una persona asume la paternidad muchas veces se “etiqueta” a los niños con una actitud machista, dejando de lado la posibilidad de que la mujer se empodere desde su ser y que el niño exprese sus emociones desde su propia naturaleza. “Necesitamos romper paradigmas y saber qué es sano o no, desde una crianza respetuosa y responsable” acotó la especialista, quien brinda algunos puntos a tomar en consideración para fomentar la igualdad desde la niñez.
1. Los niños y niñas aprenden por imitación. Los niños siguen el modelo conductual de sus padres y copian la bondad de mamá, su queja, su resentimiento, su optimismo, su resiliencia o miedos y de igual forma con papá. Por ello, es importante que se haga una evaluación intrapersonal de lo que se proyecta a los niños.
2. Fomentar juegos de roles que le permita experimentar diversas actividades. Es esencial que los niños sepan que tanto hombre como mujeres pueden jugar a la cocinita, que pueden ser carpinteros o carpinteras o un experimentado médico o doctora. El juego de roles, aunque no parezca, repercute en la vida adulta y la seguridad de los adultos al asumir responsabilidades en el hogar y su vida profesional.
3. El niño o niña debe de tener diversidad en su mundo emocional y material, saber que todo es importante. A medida que vaya creciendo irá identificando, y diferenciando, en base a un pensamiento reflexivo lo que es lo que está bien o mal y no en base al color o forma. Esto le permite además aprender a relacionarse con las personas que le rodean desde los principios de igualdad”.
Finalmente, la especialista resaltó que “sin salud mental no hay una salud completa”. Es en los juegos iniciales de la primera etapa de la niñez donde los niños aprenden mensajes de igualdad y desigualdad, dónde se forman estereotipos, etiquetas y quién es quién, el rol que desempeña y la forma como la sociedad nos quiere ver.
